How do you get a leaked broken and dried up battery out of a mag flashlight. It look like the battery exploded inside. The battery is an expensive battery so don’t tell me to throw away the battery, thanks.

On all Mag-lites, you can unscrew both ends of the flashlight. So unscrew both ends and push the battery with a short broom handle, wear a rubber glove on the hand that holds the flashlight. After the battery has been removed, wire brush the inside to remove any corrosion.
Doesn’t matter how expensive the battery was if it’s no longer useful does it?
this happens too often to the maglite , we use them at work . what i do is hold the flashlight up side down in such a way that the battery could fall out if they weren’t stuck in the lite . hold that over a garbage can and than tap gently on the side of the lite with a handle of a screw driver or a wooden handle . and as you tap it loosens the dried acid from the battery , it takes time but it does work . might want to wear rubber gloves and eye wear .
